Hey, Coonabarabran folks! Do you love gardening and meeting new people? If so, you might be interested in joining the Coonabarabran Community Garden project. This is a grassroots initiative led by our very own Brett England, who is passionate about creating a green and friendly space for everyone to enjoy.

Currently the Coona Grow Group is a sub committee under the umbrella of 2357 Development group Inc. We are seeking members to create a stand alone committee for the Community Garden. Please contact Brett on 0447 427 815 if you are interested in making the Community Garden are reality.

The project is still in its early stages, and we are looking for a suitable location for the garden. But that doesn't stop us from having fun and sharing our gardening tips and tricks. Every third Sunday of the month, we gather at the lovely Neilson Park (Essex Street, Coonabarabran) to swap seeds, plants and produce. We also have live music and coffee to spice up the morning.

This is a Community Garden Concept Pack Issue A by local architect Kalyna Sparks. Created on 8th November 2023.

Please note these are ideas for community discussion and are not a finished plan. You can see a printed copy of these plans and discuss the ideas shared at the Coonabarabran Community Garden Meetups held on the 3rd Sunday of each Month.

2357 Development Group Inc. thank Kalyna Sparks for the creation of this Concept pack and generous donation of her time and expertise.
